RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Pakistan has defeated Srilanka by 7 wickets to register its second win in the tri-nation series.

In a match played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium between Pak vs SL, the visiting team won the toss and elected to bat first.

While batting first, the toss-winning team only managed to score 128 runs in 20 overs.

Janith Liyanage remained unbeaten on 41 for Sri Lanka. Kushal Perera scored 25, and Kamil Mishara scored 22.

Mohammad Nawaz took three wickets for Pakistan. Salman Mirza, Faheem Ashraf, and Abrar Ahmed took one wicket each.

Pakistan achieved the target of 129 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the 16th over, thanks to Sahibzada Farhan’s brilliant batting.

Sahibzada Farhan remained unbeaten on 80 runs off 45 balls. His innings included 5 sixes and 6 fours.

In addition, Saim Ayub scored 20 runs and Babar Azam scored 16 runs.
