WANA (Kashmir English): Security forces have eliminated the remaining three Fitna-al-Khawarij terrorists, completing the ongoing clearance operation at Cadet College Wana in South Waziristan district on Tuesday night.

According to the security sources, one suicide bomber and four other Khawarij who attacked the Cadet College were killed in a successful operation.

“Currently, the college building is being cleared to counter any possibility of planted improvised explosive devices (IEDs),” sources said, adding that no student or teacher of the educational institution was harmed during the operation.

Earlier, sources reported that all students and teachers present inside the college premises were safely rescued amid the clearance operation against terrorists.

The security sources said that the remaining three Khawarijs were confined in one of the college’s buildings and assured that they would be brought to a conclusion in a comprehensive manner.

The videos were also shared, where the security forces can be seen rescuing children from the hostel building.

As per details shared by security sources, approximately 650 individuals, including 525 cadets, were present at the time of the attack on the Cadet College.

It should be noted that on November 10, Afghan Khawarijs rammed a vehicle loaded with explosives into the main gate of the college. The main gate of the college was completely demolished in the explosion, while nearby buildings were also damaged.

The soldiers of the Pakistan Army, acting promptly and bravely, killed two Khawarijs on the spot.

The terrorists who attacked innocent tribal children have no connection with Islam, nor with the prosperity of Pakistan, sources said.
