NEW DELHI (Kashmir English): Due to a technical fault with the air traffic control system, around 300 aircraft were delayed on Friday, making life difficult for hundreds of passengers at the Delhi airport.
A technical problem with the Automatic Message Switching System (AMSS), which provides data, is causing flight operations at the Delhi airport to be delayed, according to the Airports Authority of India (AAI).
The Automatic Message Switching System may have failed due to a suspected malware assault, but India quickly accused Pakistan of causing ATC failure at Delhi airport.
Due to problems with the air traffic control system, planes operated by IndiGo, Air India, SpiceJet, and Akasa Air are experiencing delays at the Delhi airport.
The busiest airport in the nation, Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in the nation’s capital, handles over 1,500 airplane operations every day.
