Chief Secretary AJK promises action on long standing issues of Leepa Valley

LEEPA VALLEY (Kashmir English): Chief Secretary Azad Kashmir Khushal Khan met with the candidate for Assembly Constituency 7, Leepa Valley, and Central Deputy Secretary Information of Pakistan Peoples Party, Azad Kashmir, Shaukat Javed Mir, in which they discussed in detail the public issues and development projects of Leepa Valley.

During the meeting, Shaukat Javed Mir presented a fourteen-point charter of demands, including the mega project of Leepa Valley Tunnel, Birthwad Gali, Leepa Bypass, and defense roads.

He drew attention to important issues such as the lack of facilities in educational institutions, health centers, the construction of incomplete schools, the deployment of machinery and staff during snowfall, the shortage of food, medicines, and staff.

Chief Secretary Khushal Khan, describing all the points as public welfare and basic human needs, assured to issue instructions to the concerned authorities.

He said that Pakistan always holds Azad Kashmir dear like a beloved brother and is showing generosity in solving the collective and individual problems of the people there.

He said that the Leepa Valley is a strong fortress of national defense, where the people are brave, selfless, and trustworthy, who have defended the homeland alongside the Pakistani forces at every opportunity.

Shaukat Javed Mir, while thanking Chief Secretary Khushal Khan, said that the people of Leepa Valley have always fought Indian aggression and made sacrifices for the cause of Pakistan’s stability.

He added that the friendly character of the Leepa Guards Commanding Officer, Brigadier Aamir Farid Khan, and his team has created a new spirit among the people.

He expressed his determination to make every sacrifice for the defense of Pakistan and the Kashmir freedom movement under the leadership of Field Marshal Hafiz Syed Asim Munir.
