ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Wednesday denied the reports alleging that the opposition parties have decided to remove Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwarul Haq from office.
Responding to a media query, Tariq Fazal said that the reports regarding the removal or resignation of Prime Minister Anwarul Haq are incorrect.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with the members of the negotiation committee, which was recently involved in successful talks with the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) in Azad Kashmir.
Later, several media outlets claimed that the meeting has decided to remove the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir from his post.
The reports alleged that the PML-N and the PPP will jointly decide on the future course of action, and consultations in this regard were completed in a said meeting.
Separately, during the meeting, PM Shehbaz said the government will continue to take steps for the development and prosperity of the Kashmiri people in accordance with their aspirations, state-run Radio Pakistan reported.
Shehbaz Sharif said public interest and peace are our priorities, and they will continue to serve the people of Azad Kashmir.
The premier appreciated the efforts of the members of the negotiation committee for effectively resolving matters. He also praised the Action Committee for demonstrating an understanding of the development of the region.
“We have always been protectors of the rights of Kashmiri brothers and sisters, and we will continue to protect their rights in the future as well,” the PM added.
