‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans will echo in AJK: Federal Negotiation Committee

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ will continue to echo in Azad Kashmir, said the Federal Negotiation Committee upon reaching Islamabad on Saturday.

Talking to the media, the Federal Negotiation Committee’s member and  Federal Minister Amir Muqam said that India’s desire for bloodshed in Kashmir will never be fulfilled, and matters in Azad Kashmir have been settled amicably.

Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Amir Muqam said that the successful negotiations with the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) in Azad Kashmir have thwarted India’s nefarious designs.

Amir Muqam said that he is grateful to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the success of the negotiations in Azad Kashmir.

The brotherly relationship with the people of occupied Kashmir will always remain. Pakistan will continue to support the right of self-determination of occupied Kashmir.

The success of the negotiations in Azad Kashmir has shattered India’s nefarious intentions, and he regrets the incidents taking place in Azad Kashmir.

Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal said that normal life has been restored in Azad Kashmir, and the interests of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir were taken into account in the negotiations.

We are in a position to resolve the problems with limited resources; success in the negotiations is a victory for the people of Azad Kashmir and democracy.

Ahsan Iqbal said that the shortcomings in the administrative structure should be removed, the promises made by the federal government will be fulfilled, and the people of Azad Kashmir deserve congratulations on the success of the agreement.

Former Speaker of the National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf said that no one can create a rift between the people of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.

Peace was restored with the successful negotiations with the Azad Kashmir Joint Committee.

He added that when we reached Muzaffarabad, the situation was really worrying, but after meeting the people and the action committee, it became clear that an immediate solution to the problems was inevitable.

He said that Kashmiris are people who love Pakistan, and we should not do anything that would cause hatred. The people of Pakistan and Kashmir are bound together in a relationship of love.

Raja Pervez Ashraf further said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had declared Kashmir as the jugular vein of Pakistan, while Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had vowed to fight for the Kashmir issue.

Referring to Benazir Bhutto, he said that the former prime minister had said that where the sweat of Kashmiris flows, our blood will fall.

He said that Pakistan will do whatever it can for the betterment of Kashmiris, and Kashmiris also have a responsibility to avoid any activity that spreads unrest.

He described the relationship between Pakistan and Kashmir as body and soul and said that no one can create a rift in this relationship.

Federal Minister and PML-N leader Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that thanks be to God that peace has been restored in Azad Kashmir after the agreement.

He expressed his heartfelt regret over the loss of lives during the Action Committee protests.

Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah also said in the conversation that the elements who wanted to see chaos in Azad Kashmir failed and were disappointed, and will be disappointed in the future as well.

He said that Pakistan and Kashmir are not separate from each other, but are like one soul and two bodies. Slogans of Pakistan Zindabad will continue to resonate in Azad Kashmir.

It should be noted that an agreement has been reached between the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee and the government, and after 5 days, normal life has started to be restored.
