Deadline for Hajj 2026 Installments

The payment of dues will be made between 3 and 10 November. If the second installment is not made, the Hajj application will be rejected, and the first installment will be returned by the Ministry of Religious Affairs to their account.

Under the residential package, individuals opting for a double-bed family room will have to pay Rs. 200,000 extra, and individuals opting for a triple-bed family room will have to pay Rs. 67,000 extra per person.

Previously, the Ministry of Religious Affairs announced a new policy for registered pilgrims who are unable to perform Hajj due to unavoidable circumstances, including serious illness or death.

Under the notification of the ministry, in such a case, a near relative of the registered hajji would be eligible to go on Hajj on their behalf.

The pilgrim, unable to travel, can replace some other person or have a refund of the deposited amount.

The policy also states that this request for refund or replacement is mandatorily required to be made along with valid reasons and supporting documents, such as a death certificate or a medical certificate.

Applicants will also be requested to give an affidavit on stamp paper, the original deposit slip of the bank, and a photocopy of the national identity card.
