KOTLI (Kashmir English): Azad Kashmir Public Health Minister, Dr. Nisar Ansar Abdali, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art dialysis center and gymnasium at District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Kotli.
The dialysis center, built with donations, will provide kidney patients with advanced facilities for treatment.
The center is equipped with the latest facilities for cleaning affected kidneys, significantly improving patient care.
The gymnasium, built with support from the World Health Organization (WHO), offers various facilities and equipment for patients and staff.
A new modern missionary has been inaugurated in the Dental Center, enhancing dental care services.
Dr. Nisar Ansar Abdali emphasized the government’s commitment to providing world-class medical facilities in Azad Kashmir. He highlighted the importance of timely attendance of doctors and staff, merit-based recruitments, and provision of ambulances and basic medical facilities in remote areas.
The minister appreciated the WHO’s support in improving the health sector, expecting revolutionary improvements in modern medical facilities.
After inaugurating the Dialysis Center, the Minister visited various wards and met the patients and inquired about their well-being. He also directly discussed with the patients about the quality of treatment and available facilities.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by a large number of citizens, including donor Sardar Rehan Mustafa, Medical Superintendent Dr. Nasrullah Sadiq, District Health Officer Syed Shafqat Shah, Mayor Baldia Chaudhry Muhammad Taj, Councilor Tohid Akbar Chaudhry, Sardar Mazhar Iqbal Advocate, doctors, and hospital staff.
