WASHINGTON (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and US President Donald Trump had an important meeting at the White House.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, US Vice President JD Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio were also present in the meeting.

The meeting between President Trump and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the Oval Office lasted for more than an hour and 20 minutes, but the details of the meeting were not released.

After meeting with the US President, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif left Washington for New York, where he will address the United Nations General Assembly today.

Before the meeting, US President Donald Trump described Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir as great leaders and outstanding personalities.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif arrived in Washington, DC, to meet US President Donald Trump.

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s House, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif arrived at Andrews Air Base along with a Pakistani delegation and was welcomed on the red carpet by a senior US Air Force official.

The Prime Minister’s motorcade left the airbase under strict security.

The Prime Minister will meet US President Donald Trump, and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir will accompany the Prime Minister.

According to the White House, during the meeting in the Oval Office, detailed discussions are expected on global and regional issues, including the Pakistan-India war in May and the Kashmir issue.
