MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The residents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir have been enjoying light to moderate rainfall from the afternoon, with light cold wind blowing, bringing the much-needed relief from the scorching heat of the last few days.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerly trough is likely to affect the upper parts of the country from today.
The Met Office has predicted that hot and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country. However, partly cloudy weather conditions with isolated rain-wind/thunderstorm may occur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pothohar region, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
For the last 24 hours, mainly hot and dry weather has continued throughout Pakistan.
