ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Medical and Dental College Admission Test MDCAT 2025 schedule has been modified in the wake of the prevailing flood crisis in the country.
The Federal Ministry of Health said the alteration had been initiated on orders of Health Minister Mustafa Kamal, with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) releasing a modified schedule.
The announcement came after consultations with universities across all the provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan to avoid putting students from flood-hit regions at a disadvantage.
Previously scheduled for October 5, 2025, the MDCAT will now be conducted on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
Health Minister Mustafa Kamal highlighted that the action has been taken in the best interest of students. He reaffirmed that the government is still committed to providing equal opportunities for education to students in all of Pakistan.
