LAHORE (Kashmir English): Pakistan’s Men’s hockey team will play a pre-World Cup qualifying series against Bangladesh, according to sources within the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF).
They said the schedule for the series will be announced soon. The FIH has also approved the pre-World Cup qualifying series, sources confirmed.
World Cup hockey qualifying round
The winning side of the series will advance to the World Cup hockey qualifying round. The Green Shirts were excluded from direct entry into the World Cup qualifying round after it didn’t participate in the Asia Cup.
Following a request from the PHF, the FIH had placed the matter before its Executive Board, according to sources.
