ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has wrapped up a special gas delivery routine for Eid al-Azha, so domestic consumers can stay comfortable during the festive period.
As per sources, folks in every district linked with the company network will be getting gas for around 18 hours every day over all three days of Eid, and the concerned authorities will make sure the pressure stays decent during the whole stretch.
Officials said that on the first day of Eid al-Azha, gas availability will start from 5:00 am and go up to 11:00 pm. Then on day two and day three, the supply will run from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm.
SNGPL has also shared that the gas will continue with full pressure right up to midnight on Chand Raat, so households can handle their Eid preparations without stress. Sources further mentioned that this special Eid al-Azha gas supply schedule is expected to kick off starting tomorrow.
AJK Announces Eid Holidays
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government has announced official Eid-ul-Azha holidays 2026.
According to the official notification issued by the government, the residents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir will observe three holidays starting from May 26, 2026.
The residents will have three official holidays i-e o May 26, 27, and 28. During these holidays, all public and private schools, colleges, and offices will remain closed.
