RAWALAKOT (Kashmir English): The first technical workshop for teachers has been launched in Rawalakot under the Prime Minister’s Kashmir Programme.
The aim of this training programme is to familiarise teachers with modern teaching methods and IT skills so that they can provide quality services in the field of education.
According to the teachers, this workshop is specifically re-training on an international teaching methodology adopted in 2017, which was adopted in accordance with the modern educational trends of the world.
The main objective of this methodology is to make quality the standard instead of quantity, so that the teaching process is more effective and in line with the intellectual and practical development of the students.
The training workshop focuses specifically on ICT and modern pedagogical techniques such as cascade training, peer training, and cluster-based training, which were included in the education policy of Azad Jammu and Kashmir after 2017.
Through these methods, teachers are not only being taught modern principles of teaching, but also an attempt is being made to align them with global standards in the field of education.
