LAHORE (Kashmir English): Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued Special instructions for cricket fans regarding the final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) XI.
According to the PCB, fans holding tickets for gates number one to eight have been instructed to enter the stadium via FIFA Gate and Gulberg College.
Similarly, ticket holders for gates number nine to 16 will be able to reach the stadium via Liberty Gate. The PCB has instructed fans to reach Gaddafi Stadium by 6:30 pm so that they do not face any difficulty during entry.
It should be noted that PSL final will be played tomorrow between Hyderabad Kings and Peshawar Zalmi.
Aim is to win trophy for Peshawar Zalmi: Babar Azam
Captain Peshawar Zalmi Babar Azam, has said that like every captain, I also want to win the trophy for my team. While addressing a press conference, he mentioned the Hyderabad team and said that initially they faced difficulties, but later the team played better and every player played their role well.
Babar Azam praised Sri Lankan all-rounder Kaushal Mendis and said that he is an experienced player and his presence proves to be very useful for the team. He said that his journey with Peshawar Zalmi has been wonderful overall and the team has shown improvement in all three areas – batting, bowling and fielding.
According to Babar Azam, every match is stressful, while the pressure of the final is much greater, for which the team has to enter the field with full mental preparation.
He further said that there is no shortage of cricket talent in Pakistan, the real need is to correctly identify this talent and effectively guide it.
Babar Azam said that it is important to understand which player is suitable for which format so that no player is tested in the wrong format. According to him, including a T20 player in Test cricket could prove detrimental to the team.
Asked about his performance, Babar Azam said that he could not perform as per his own and the public’s expectations, but his full focus is on improving his form.
