Dalda launches scholarship program for Azad Kashmir students

MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Dalda Foundation Trust (DFT) Pakistan has launched a scholarship program for talented students in Azad Kashmir. The program aims to provide financial support to students pursuing professional education in various fields.

The “scholarship scheme for professional education 2025-26” offers not only financial support but also provides training facilities for personality grooming to see students become good leaders and successful professionals, to nurture an entrepreneurial spirit, the foundation said.

It said that scholarships will be awarded based on a weighted average of the candidate’s Board exam results and their performance in the DFT written test. Final selection to be confirmed after verification of family financial health, it added.

“The scholarship will be immediately withdrawn if a student provides wrong information, misses the final exam, fails to meet standards, or engages in unethical or unacceptable activity,” the statement added.

Eligibility criteria for scholarship

  • Pre-medical students with 80% marks in matriculation
  • Pre-engineering and other groups with 70% marks in matriculation
  • Admitted to the government intermediate college as 1st year student
  • Age not exceeding 19 years as of August 20, 2025
  • Parent/Guardian income not exceeding Rs. 50,000 per month
