MIRPUR (Kashmir English): In acknowledgement of the outstanding performance and quality Medicare to both indoor and outdoor patients, top health services authorities of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) have declared Mirpur Divisional Headquarters Teaching Hospital as a center of excellence.
The facility is being headed by Medical Superintendent Dr. Sardar Amir Aziz Khan. The officials said that the hospital was formally declared as a Center of Excellence at a special ceremony hosted to award the Certificate of Excellence by the Secretary Health Services AJK Government Major General Muhammad Farid to the MS Dr. Sardar Amir Aziz Khan here.
Director General Health Services Dr. Farooq Ahmed Noor was also present on this occasion. “It is with great satisfaction that I acknowledge the exemplary healthcare services, professional commitment, and high standards of patient care consistently demonstrated at the Divisional Headquarters Teaching Hospital, Mirpur” Secretary Health Services said in his remarks on this occasion.
Mirpur hospital’s remarkable progress
The Secretary Health Services continued that during his recent visit to the hospital, he was deeply impressed by the dedication and professionalism of the administrative, medical, and nursing teams, as well as the hospital’s remarkable progress in advancing healthcare delivery for the people of Mirpur and the surrounding districts.
“I also wish to particularly commend the outstanding work undertaken in implementing and optimizing the Health Management Information System (HMIS) through your internal resources”, he commented adding “this has significantly improved efficiency, accuracy of medical records, and data-driven decision-making within the hospital.
He assured the government’s full support to further enhancing the standards that earned recognition.
