Field Marshal Asim Munir Stands with the People of IIOJK
COAS Field Marshal Asim Munir and the CJCSC, the naval chief, the chief of air staff, and the Pakistan Armed Forces have restated their steadfast support for the brave and resilient people of Indian Illegally IOJK.
According to an Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) statement, the Pakistan armed forces are in full support of the just and consistent struggle of the Kashmiri people for their unalienable right to self-determination, enshrined in international law and UN Security Council resolutions, the statement stated.
The illegal occupation of IIOJK by Indian security forces continues in the form of an unremitting military siege, institutionalised human rights abuses, and demographic engineering, which is a serious violation of international conventions and is a subject of immense concern, it said.
India’s repressive behavior, along with its aggressive stance and inflammatory rhetoric, only serves to aggravate regional instability and continue human suffering. Lasting peace in South Asia cannot be achieved without the peaceful and just resolution of the IIOJK issue, ISPR stated.
