MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir Digital): Officials from the Police Post Kohala, under the supervision of SHO Chattar Class Police Station Mohsin Ali Awan seized a truckload of unhealthy juice being brought from Islamabad to Jhelum Valley.
The action was taken during a routine checking. According to details, the truck loaded with unhealthy juice was going from Islamabad to the Valley. It was handed over by SHO Chattar Class Police Station Mohsin Ali Awan to Food Department Officer Hanif Qayyum.
Food Department officials, after inspection, declared the juice unhealthy and substandard. On this occasion, influential individuals rushed to get the truck full of juice released but to no avail.
Public circles have praised the checking operation by Police Post Kohala, thanked the police and administration, and demanded that the Deputy Commissioner Muzaffarabad and District Food Controller take strict legal action against those who bring and sell such unhealthy juices and other food items in Muzaffarabad.
