ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Gold rate in Pakistan has increased by Rs2,300 per tola on Friday as 24-karat gold is being sold at Rs357,000 per tola.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association (APGJA), the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs1,971 to Rs306,069. The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs278,608 per 10 grams.
On the other hand, silver prices increased by Rs86 per tola in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,937 per tola and Rs3,293 per 10-gram.
As per APGJSA, the price of gold in the global market also increased today by $21 to $3,345 per ounce.
