Gold prices drop for third consecutive day in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English):  Both gold and silver prices saw a substantial fall in Pakistan on Monday as international gold prices took a massive dip.

As per the latest figures released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the gold price per tola in Pakistan came down to Rs452,233by Rs3,094. Gold’s 10-gram price fell by Rs2,785 to close at Rs386,987.
Silver prices in the country also declined as the rate of per tola of silver slipped to Rs7,173 by Rs94.
In the international market, the price of gold went down by $30.94 an ounce, leading the local gold rates to decrease by $30.94 per ounce to $4,297.97 per ounce. Analysts said the declining international prices of gold were responsible for the sharp fall in domestic gold prices.
