University of Poonch boosts student tech skills through hands-on boot camps

RAWALAKOT (Kashmir English): The University of Poonch in Rawalakot has taken a major step toward preparing students for the tech industry by organizing two skill-based boot camps through its Department of Computer Sciences & IT. These camps were held in collaboration with the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and the Special Communication Organization (SCO).

The boot camps were conducted free of cost, and participants were provided with refreshments and lunch throughout the training. Ms. Anum Nasir, who served as the focal person for the program, played a key role in its smooth execution.

The closing ceremony featured guest speaker Professor Dr. Ijaz Ahmad, a renowned academic and member of the National Computing Council. He inspired students with his experiences in the computing field and encouraged them to stay updated with modern tech trends.

The University of Poonch has demonstrated its commitment to student development by organizing these boot camps, which not only enhanced professional skills but also gave students valuable insights into the practical world of IT.
