DUBAI (Kashmir English): ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 will be held from September 30 to November 2 in Bengaluru, India.
This comes after International Cricket Council officially revealed the schedule for the 2025 edition of the tournament. The event, featuring eight teams, will take place across five venues in India and Sri Lanka.
In the opening match on September 30, hosts India will be playing against Sri Lanka at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
On October 1, defending champions Australia will begin their campaign against New Zealand at Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. The next day, Pakistan will face Bangladesh in Colombo.
Runners-up of 2002, England will take on South Africa on October 3 in Bengaluru.
The round-robin stage of the tournament will continue until October 26, with England playing New Zealand in Guwahati and India hosting Bangladesh in Bengaluru on the final day of group stage matches.
The top four teams from the round-robin stage will advance to the semi-finals, scheduled for October 29 and 30, before the Final on November 2.

The semi-final matchups will see first place facing fourth, while second plays third.
Pakistan will play its matches in Sri Lanka following India’s refusal to travel to Pakistan for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy in February-March.
