ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Chief Justice Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Supreme Court Raja Saeed Akram Khan called on President Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry in Islamabad on Monday.
On this occasion, the duo discussed the issues of mutual interest and matters related to judiciary. They also agreed to intensify efforts to strengthening the justice system and provide justice to the people.
Vacant posts in AJK High Court
The issue of vacant posts in the Azad Kashmir High Court and Services Tribunal also came under discussion during the meeting.
Meanwhile, Central Joint Secretary Pakistan Muslim League-N Azad Kashmir Women’s Wing, Jamila Khatoon, met with senior parliamentarian and central leader of PML-N Raja Zafar-ul-Haq. They discussed the current political situation in Azad Kashmir, human rights violations in occupied Kashmir, and matters of mutual interest.
The duo agreed to take steps to strengthen the party and ensure Pakistan Muslim League-N’s victory with a massive majority in the upcoming elections in Azad Kashmir.
Raja Zafar-ul-Haq appreciated the role of women in Pakistan Muslim League-N Azad Kashmir. On this occasion, Jamila Khatoon said that PML-N is strong in Azad Kashmir and the local leaders have full confidence in the party leadership, including Party President Shah Ghulam Qadir, former Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider, Senior Vice President Mushtaq Ahmad Manhas, and General Secretary Chaudhry Tariq Farooq.
