MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Supreme Court of Azad Kashmir has dismissed 144 permanent social mobilizers of the Population Welfare Department in the decision of Tanzila Shakeel vs. Director General Population Welfare Department appeal.
According to the details, the order issued by the Population Welfare Secretariat states that the Secretary of Population Welfare, Azad Kashmir, has dismissed 114 social mobilizers from their jobs in light of the Supreme Court’s decision.
144 social mobilizers across Azad Kashmir were recruited on a prospective basis in Scale B-7 on February 3, 2021, whose appointments have now been canceled.
The employees were recruited by issuing advertisements, in which a candidate, Tanzila Shakeel, appealed, on a decision was made to dismiss the employees based on irregularities.
According to the notification, the 144 employees who lost their jobs include Hassan Nasir, Azahar Ilahi Khan, Farah Noor Kiani, Muhammad Farooq, Iftekhar Ahmed, Adil Kareem, and Safdar Hussain.
Additionally, other employees include Muhammad Shakeel, Abdul Khaliq Kiani, Syed Sajjad Hussain Kazmi, Khwaja Muhammad Ashraf, Muahammad Asif, Muhammad Khalil, Muhammad Qayyum.
Moreover, Raja Shehbaz Khan, Safeer Ahmed, Ashiq Hussain, Imran Mushtaq Chuhan, Maryam Rani, Aftab Hussain, Muhammad asghar, Sultan Muhammad were dismissed from their duties.
