ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan on Monday successfully conducted a training launch of its FATAH Series missile, a surface-to-surface weapon system with a range of 120 kilometres. The launch took place as part of the ongoing military exercise Ex INDUS and was aimed at testing the missile’s operational readiness and technical precision.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the training launch verified advanced navigation system functionality as well as improved accuracy among fundamental parameters. This successful test serves as a major advancement in the operational readiness of troops and deployment preparedness authentication.
The launch was witnessed by both senior Pakistan Army officials and scientists and engineers from Pakistan’s institutions. The scientific team members participated to demonstrate the critical role of FATAH Series missiles in national defence while showing both domains work together on various defense projects.
Primary officials from the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee together with the Chief of Army Staff expressed their appreciation to the launch teams. The event received praise for all participants including troops engineers and scientists who demonstrated exceptional skill alongside technical strength.
