79 terrorists killed in ongoing Operation Shaban in Balochistan

QUETTA (Kashmir English): The security forces have killed three more terrorists belonging to Fitna Al Khawarij in the ongoing Operation Shaban in Balochistan on Monday, bringing the total number of those killed in the operation to 79.

The Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, and Balochistan Police jointly launched Operation Shaban following the militants’ attack on the Mangi Dam police post in Ziarat district on July 7, in which 27 police personnel were martyred.

According to security sources, effective operations are underway by the security forces against the terrorists hiding in the rugged mountainous terrain through coordinated ground and air operations.

The sources said that a total of 117 militants have been killed in Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations since July 5 across the province.

Operation Shaban will continue in Balochistan until the last terrorist is eliminated, sources said.

Earlier today, five Khawarij were killed in the operation, rising tally to 76.

Yesterday, security sources reported that four more terrorists were killed during the ongoing operation in the Saran Tangi area of ​​Balochistan.
