CALIFORNIA (Kashmir English): Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp continues to introduce new features in 2025, making chats more intelligent, and the latest, the app began testing a groundbreaking AI-driven feature that allows users to convert plain text into engaging images for their Online statuses.

Based on state-of-the-art generative AI, WhatsApp’s new feature can craft original, colorful visuals from plain words. Users just enter a prompt, and the AI generates several images immediately, ready for immediate sharing.

Want to make some adjustments to the photo? No issue! WhatsApp even provides an “Edit Image” feature so you can refine your work before sharing it.

The feature is now rolling out for certain Android and iOS users on the current version of WhatsApp. This feature has the potential to revolutionize the way we share experiences online. Some fortunate users have it now, others will have to wait until the next server update.

The technology giant released significant updates in 2025 that sought to enhance privacy, usability, and media sharing. Users can now run multiple accounts on one device and lock individual chats using passcodes or biometrics.

The app offers passkey-based logins for quicker, more secure entry, with an “HD” feature that preserves photos and videos at their original quality.

Other features include editing messages in 15 minutes, personalizing chats with fresh themes and wallpapers, and a redesigned status tray that splits contacts’ posts from channels, creating less clutter and easier navigation. These releases provide a safer, more personalized, and more convenient messaging experience.
