WASHINGTON DC (Kashmir English): The United States announced new sanctions on Tuesday, which specifically targeted 14 people and businesses that assist Iran in obtaining weapons.

The networks operate to support Iran’s goal of restoring its ballistic missile stockpile, which was damaged by US and Israeli military operations. The U.S. Department of the Treasury confirmed that the sanctioned organizations conduct their business activities across Iran, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.

The report revealed that these entities engage in the procurement process to obtain weapons and their associated components, which they then deliver to Iran. Iranian government officials have confirmed their ongoing efforts to build up missile manufacturing capabilities.

Officials reported that the United States continues to decrease Iran’s stockpiles of ballistic missiles. Iran increases its attempts to recover its full capabilities because of this situation.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent declared that the Iranian regime needs to answer for its actions. He accused Iran of creating instability within worldwide energy markets while conducting missile and drone attacks against civilian targets.

He declared that the United States will monitor financial transactions while maintaining restrictions on individuals who assist Iran’s operations. The Treasury Department reported on Iran’s increasing deployment of Shahed-series drones.

The drones operate to attack American military targets and their regional allies, along with energy facilities in the area. The United States imposed sanctions on three people who had connections to Pishgam Electronic Safeh Company, which operates in Iran.

The company provides components that are essential for building drones. Authorities named a Tehran-based currency exchanger, Kamal Sabah Balkhkanlu, for financial support.

The organization imposed sanctions against Mohammad Vahidi because of his role in organizing material shipments. They imposed sanctions against Danial Khalili for his participation in material delivery operations.
