ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Gold prices in Pakistan (Today gold rate) have increased sharply on Tuesday after three-days of decline as the per tola has surged by Rs24,000.
According to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the rates has reached to Rs514,362 per tola in local market. The price of 10-gram gold climbed by Rs20,576 to Rs440,982.
The price of silver per tola increased by Rs741 to Rs9,146, while the price of silver per ten grams increased by Rs636 to Rs7,841.
The price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market increased by a significant increase of $240 to $4,916.
The gold prices in Pakistan experienced a decline on Monday because of a major drop in the global market for the second consecutive day. The local market recorded a gold price which decreased to Rs. 490,362 for each tola after a daily drop of Rs. 21,500.
According to rates APGJSA, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 420,406, which showed a decline of Rs. 18,433.
The gold price per tola reached Rs. 511,862 on Saturday after it declined by Rs. 25,500 during the day. The international gold price dropped by $215 to reach $4,676 for each ounce which included an extra $20 premium.
