WASHUK (Kashmir English): Security forces killed three terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Patak, Washuk district, Balochistan, security sources said on Monday.
According to the sources, security forces conducted the operation after the intelligence reports indicated the presence of six to eight terrorists in the Pera Bejar area, near Patak and Basima Camp.
Sources added that troops were already deployed in the Patak and immediately moved towards the suspected location after receiving the intelligence.
During the ensuing engagement, three terrorists were killed, and their bodies were recovered from the area.
The deceased were identified as Najamuddin and Adnan, while one was unidentified. Arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants, sources stated.
