ISTANBUL (Kashmir English): Pakistan, in Istanbul talks, makes it clear to the Afghan regime that supporting and facilitating the terrorist groups is unacceptable, according to security sources.

Pakistan delegation, presenting its final stance, emphasized that concrete and verifiable action must be taken to eliminate the militant network operating inside Afghanistan.

The security sources added that the Taliban’s stance in the Istanbul talks was illogical and detached from the ground realities.

Their stance appeared to pursue a different agenda in the meeting, the security source added.

The stance does not serve the stability of the region.

Officials further said that the future course of dialogue will depend on the Afghan Taliban’s positive and practical response in the coming days.
