MASTUNG (Kashmir English): In a tragic firing incident, the Sessions Judge Abdul Hakeem Kakar was martyred, along with his gunman, on the National Highway in Mastung, according to initial reports.
Officials said Additional Sessions Judge Tariq Lashari and another person sustained serious injuries in the attack. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital, where they are receiving medical treatment.
The bodies of the deceased have been transported to the hospital for legal formalities. Law enforcement agencies reached the scene soon after the incident, secured the area, and launched an investigation to determine the motive behind the attack and identify those responsible.

Expressing deep sorrow over the death of Session Judge Abdul Hakeem Kakar, the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfraz Bugti, stated that the attack on Sessions Judge Abdul Hakeem Kakar is an attack on the state.
Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti vowed that the terrorists will be brought to justice at all costs. The blood of the protectors of the law will not go in vain.
There is no concession for terrorists and their facilitators, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti further stated.
Those who challenge the writ of the state will be crushed. There will be no haven for terrorists in Balochistan.
Moreover, CM Bugti added that operations against peace-loving elements will be further intensified. Every network of terrorism will be uprooted.
The war against terrorism will continue with full force, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti concluded.
