ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): SereneAir has denied claims made in the media regarding the shutdown of its operations in Pakistan, asserting that they are working on the resumption of flights and attempting to take to the skies before the end of 2026.

In the published statement, SereneAir mentions that preparations are being made for the restructuring and cost-cutting of the company’s activities.

The company also admits that it is working on the acquisition of obsolete assets and redundant facilities. However, it emphasized that this step is part of the restructuring process rather than a signal of the company’s closing of operations.

Additionally, it has been reported that the company’s owners are considering the option of raising investments. It was noted in the statement that the investment would improve the company’s financial standing and enable it to pay off its debts.

The official site of SereneAir continues to provide information on its fleet, destinations, customer service, and booking, which means that the airline is still maintaining its presence on the corporate market despite the suspension of flights.

If everything goes according to plan, SereneAir could return to Pakistan’s competitive private airline market before the end of 2026.
