SOUTH WAZIRISTAN (Kashmir English): A cowardly attempt by Indian proxy Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists to target a security forces check post in South Waziristan district was foiled on July 25, 2026.
According to a press release issued by the Pakistan Army’s Public Relations Department, ISPR, Indian proxy Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists attempted to carry out a suicide attack on a security forces check post, but the attack was completely foiled due to timely and effective action by the security forces.
According to the ISPR, the attackers belonged to the pro-India organization ‘Fitna al-Khawarij’, four of whom, including a suicide bomber, were killed, while a vehicle loaded with explosives was also destroyed.
Fitna al-Khawarij tried to breach the security of the check post, but the alert and strong response of the security forces thwarted their nefarious intentions.
The attackers’ explosive-laden vehicle was targeted and destroyed outside the post, killing one of the suicide bombers in the vehicle and causing no damage.
The security personnel, displaying exceptional bravery and professionalism, pursued the remaining attackers, who fled and hid in a nearby house.
Security forces surrounded the house and launched a highly-coordinated operation with great skill, in which the remaining three Khawarij were also killed through accurate shooting. There were no casualties among the security forces during the entire operation.
According to the ISPR, a sanitization operation is underway in the area to eliminate any other pro-India foreign elements.
The forces say that the operations of the security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue with full determination to eliminate terrorism sponsored and financed from outside the country.
This operation is part of the anti-terrorism campaign ‘Determination of Stability’ approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, which aims to completely eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism from across the country.
