RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): General Fayyadh bin Humaid Al-Ruwaili, Chief of General Staff of the Saudi Arabian Armed Forces, called on Field Marshal and Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarters (GHQ), according to the ISPR.
The two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, especially emphasizing the need to further promote the long-standing, strategic, and strong military cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, it was also agreed on the need for further improvement in the areas of defense cooperation, security cooperation, and counter-terrorism, which are the foundation of the deep relations between the two countries.
The distinguished guest appreciated Pakistan’s cooperation with the Saudi Armed Forces in various fields and expressed his determination to further advance the strong bilateral relations.
Upon his arrival at GHQ, General Fayyadh bin Humaid Al-Ruwaili laid a wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial and was presented a guard of honor by a well-dressed contingent of the Pakistan Army.
