MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The draw for Pakistan’s largest prize bond, worth Rs40,000, will be held on June 10 in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, offering participants a chance to win millions of rupees.
A total of 664 prizes will be awarded in the draw. The first prize carries a massive reward of Rs 80 million and will be awarded to one lucky winner.
In addition, three winners will receive the second prize of Rs30 million each. Meanwhile, 660 participants will win the third prize of Rs500,000 each.
Thousands of prize bond holders across the country are eagerly awaiting the results, hoping to become the next big winners in one of Pakistan’s most anticipated prize bond draws.
Earlier, the Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS), Pakistan, announced the date for the draw for the Rs40,000 denomination prize bond.
It said that draw No. 36 for the Rs40,000 prize bond will be held in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
Based in Melody Market, Islamabad, the CDNS is a Pakistani state-owned savings bank, operating as an attached department under the Finance Division, Ministry of Finance.
Prize bonds are a popular savings option in the country. The scheme allows people to invest safely while also getting a chance to win large cash prizes.
The Rs40,000 prize bond draw will offer big rewards. The first prize is Rs80,000,000, while the second prize is Rs30,000,000. The third prize is Rs500,000. This draw gives participants a chance to win large prizes through one of Pakistan’s premium prize bond categories.
Prize Bonds of different denominations
Prize bonds are available in different denominations, including Rs100, Rs200, Rs750, Rs1,500, Rs25,000, and Rs40,000. People can buy or encash these bonds at National Savings Centres, offices of the State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation, and authorised commercial banks.
A completed application form and valid CNIC are required for these transactions.
The draw results will be announced shortly after the balloting process starting 10am. The Rs40,000 prize bond remains popular among investors who want safe savings along with the chance to win large cash prizes.
