NEW YORK (Kashmir English): Rockstar Games has revealed the release date of the PC edition of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6).

According to media reports, Rockstar Games could release the PC edition of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) by the end of March 2027.

While Rockstar hasn’t officially confirmed when the game will be released on PC, the company is reportedly aiming for the first quarter of 2027.

The reported release date may mean that PC players have to wait a bit short for the game than some of the developer’s biggest releases in the past.

Grand Theft Auto V has been released on PC nearly two years after its console release, and Red Dead Redemption 2 has been released over a year after its console launch.

The addition of a PC version would also provide an alternative means for gamers to enjoy the long-awaited open-world game.

Depending on the final product, and optimisation and system requirements, players with powerful gaming PCs may be able to enjoy higher settings and better performance.

But Rockstar hasn’t revealed the details of the PC version or the features it includes. A PC release might also be important for the roleplaying community of the game.

In fact, PC is now a significant arena for roleplaying in Grand Theft Auto V, with the use of custom servers and mods to create their own characters, stories and virtual worlds.

If Rockstar is developing an online mode for GTA 6, it may draw roleplayers and content creators and modders to the eventual release of the game on PC.

As of yet, the first-quarter 2027 release date has not been confirmed. Rockstar has yet to declare an official date for PC release, but fans will have to wait for details from the developers.
