LAHORE (Kashmir English): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched the Chief Minister Punjab Climate Leadership Development Internship Programme Phase Two, Batch Three, offering selected graduates a monthly stipend of Rs60,000 for three months.
The programme aims to help young graduates gain professional experience while supporting Punjab’s efforts to tackle climate change and environmental challenges.
Climate Internship 2026: What Selected Graduates Will Get
Selected interns will receive practical training, field exposure and guidance from experts. They will also work with field offices and policy units of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Punjab on environmental projects.
The programme will include a modern Learning Management System (LMS), district-level field activities and opportunities to obtain international certification linked to the UNFCCC.
To promote greater participation of women, 50% of the internship seats have been reserved for female candidates. A special quota has also been included for graduates holding foreign degrees.
Punjab Climate Internship 2026: Eligibility and Apply
Candidates will be selected through an automated merit-based system. Interested graduates can submit their applications until September 18, 2026.
