ISLAMABAD: Pak Suzuki Motor Company has announced new retail prices of all its car models, increasing the prices following the recent hike by the government in sales tax and the newly introduced NEV Levy on vehicles.

In a circular issued to its authorized dealers, the company said that the new rates will be effective from July 1. The price hikes vary across different models and trims, increasing from Rs18,000 to Rs180,000.

The company clarified that the “revised prices now include Federal Excise Duty (FED), sales tax, and NEV Levy, but exclude Advance Income Tax.”

In a circular, Aamir Shaffi, Functional Head of Marketing & Sales at Pak Suzuki, further said that the increase is purely tax-related, with no change in production or operational costs passed on to consumers.
