MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Latif Akbar was involved in an accident on his way to attend a rally and corner meeting in his constituency in Khawra, Muzaffarabad.
As per details, Chaudhry Latif fell from a horse and suffered minor injuries to his legs.
The incident occurred when he was given a grand welcome and taken to the rally venue on a horse, despite his intention to reach the venue on foot. The horse got scared due to the rush and ran over a vehicle standing on the way.
He was saved by workers standing nearby who provided immediate assistance. After the accident, he was given first aid, including a tetanus vaccine and painkillers. Following medical treatment, he went home.
