PM Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir perform Umrah

JEDDAH (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Saudi Arabia on the special invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and performed Umrah on Thursday.

The door of the Kaaba was especially opened for the dignitaries where they offered Nawafil along with their delegation members. They thanked Allah Almighty for the victory in operation Bunyan Marsoos.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and the Pakistani delegation are on a visit to Saudi Arabia on the special invitation of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, where they performed Umrah on the night between Thursday and Friday. The door of the Kaaba was especially opened for the Pakistani delegation.

The Prime Minister and the Army Chief expressed gratitude to Allah Almighty for the great victory of operation Bunyan Marsoos.

While thanking Allah Almighty for the recent successes in Pakistan’s economic field and public welfare initiatives, special prayers were offered for the country’s development and prosperity, as well as for the Muslim Ummah, especially the oppressed Kashmiri and Palestinian Muslim brothers and sisters.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar also accompanied the Prime Minister.

On this occasion, gratitude was also expressed to Allah Almighty for Pakistan’s recent successes related to economic development, public welfare, and national security.

Prime Minister’s visit

The Prime Minister’s visit is taking place on the invitation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, during which he will also spend Eid-ul-Adha in Saudi Arabia.

Later, upon the Prime Minister’s arrival in Jeddah, he was warmly welcomed by Governor Jeddah, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq, and other high diplomatic officials welcomed the Prime Minister.
