KARACHI (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced free entry for fans for the five-match T20 home series between Pakistan and South Africa’s U-19 women’s teams.

According to the PCB, the series will start on July 14 at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, where all five matches will be played.

Fans will be able to watch the matches from the Zaheer Abbas and Majid Khan enclosures without any tickets.

The cricket board said in a statement that fans can come to the National Bank Stadium and enjoy the matches for free, as both the said enclosures will be open for them.

A few hours before this announcement, Pakistan U-19 women’s team captain Fiza Fayyaz and South Africa captain Mickey van Voorst also unveiled the series trophy at the National Bank Stadium.

Speaking exclusively to PCB Digital, Pakistani captain Fizza Faiz said that playing on home ground is always a special feeling and the entire team is excited for the series against South Africa.

She said that the team has prepared well and is eager to perform well in the series.

Fizza Faiz said that the team’s confidence increased after winning the series against Bangladesh 3-2 in December last year, but South Africa is a strong opponent, so Pakistan will have to show discipline and consistency in all three areas – batting, bowling and fielding.
