NEELUM VALLEY (Kashmir English): A passenger van met with an accident in the Lower Alaouqha Sanduk area of Neelum Valley, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, leaving one person dead and two others injured.
According to initial reports, five people, including the driver, were travelling in the passenger van when the accident occurred. The passengers included a woman and a child.
The driver died at the scene as a result of the accident. Residents immediately launched a rescue operation and recovered the injured woman and child before shifting them to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, the search for the remaining two passengers, who are currently missing, is underway. Residents and rescue teams are taking part in the search operation.
