LONDON (Kashmir English): Pakistan Under-19 secured a magnificent series victory by defeating England Under-19 by 122 runs in the second Youth One-Day match.
Batting first, Pakistan scored 308 runs in 49.2 overs. England team was bowled out for 186 runs in 37.1 overs.
During Pakistan’s innings, Abdul Qadir displayed brilliant batting, playing an explosive knock of 146 runs off 100 balls, featuring 11 fours and 12 sixes.
Hayam Khan scored 37 runs off 27 balls, while wicketkeeper-batsman Hamza Zahoor played a crucial innings of 55 runs off 49 balls.
Ahmed Hussain scored 28 runs, while captain Farhan Yousuf was dismissed for 4. Tom Edwards, Luke Hands, and George Harris claimed three wickets each.
Chasing a target of 309 runs, the England Under-19 batting lineup could not withstand the Pakistani bowlers for long.
Robbie Bowman put up some resistance with an aggressive innings of 67 runs off 43 balls including 4 fours and 7 sixesbut the other batsmen failed to deliver a significant performance.
