ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan has made the statement that it will award scholarships to 500 Bangladeshi students over a period of five years as an effort to increase people-to-people connections between the two countries through education.
A spokesperson from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed that while addressing his visit to Bangladesh, the country’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar had declared that he would launch the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor.
It was declared that the project aimed at increasing academic collaboration between the two neighboring countries through education-related programs.
The second phase of the program, named the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor, was launched on May 10, 2026, in Dhaka, marking another step towards its implementation.
Under this program, a Bangladeshi delegation has visited Pakistan for a period of three weeks to enhance academic collaboration and linkages.
Speaking about his satisfaction regarding the improved bilateral relationship, Ishaq Dar praised the positive trend in Pakistan-Bangladesh relations.
Youth Scholarships Program 2026
