LONDON (Kashmir English): The Pakistan cricket team presented a special bat to King Charles of Britain.
This bat was presented by the captain of the Pakistani Test team, Babar Azam, to the British monarch.
King Charles asked the PCB chairman whether this bat was made of Pakistani wood.
Pakistan cricket players, Mohsin Naqvi, meet Britain’s King Charles
The Pakistan cricket team and officials met with King Charles III of the United Kingdom at Clarence House, the historic royal residence, in London on Wednesday afternoon.
Federal Interior Minister and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi was also present at the meeting.
The Royal Family’s X account also posted photos of the interaction.
“This afternoon, the King welcomed the Pakistan National Cricket Team to Clarence House,” it captioned.
Mohsin Naqvi said that the King discussed cricket and Pakistan’s efforts to maintain peace and security in the country.
During the meeting, the British high commissioner told King Charles that Pakistan and Naqvi had played an important role in efforts for peace in the region, it reported.
