KARACHI (Kashmir English): BYD has finally brought two new electric vehicles to the local market with the launch of the BYD Sealion 7 and the BYD Atto 2, extending the variant line in Pakistan.
The two models, which were introduced at a dealership event in Lahore, contribute to BYD-MMC’s increasing NEV portfolio in Pakistan by catering to both the premium and urban lifestyle segments, as the bookings are now open nationwide.
BYD Sealion 7 Features
The BYD Sealion 7, a premium-level luxury SUV with top-of-the-range cabin level luxury and luxury first designed to compete with any world-class premium electric luxury model on driving dynamics, tech, and safety.
One of the top-selling models by BYD in Asia Pacific, Sealion 7 boasts top-shelf performing electric luxury with 380Nm of torque and 308 horsepower/230kW, enabling 0-100km/H acceleration in just 6.7 seconds and 37m braking from 100-0 km/H.
Additionally, with a truly unprecedented super long-range electric tech enablement with a single charge, up to 567 km, Sealion 7 makes its own market segment with bold and confident driving capabilities.
BYD Sealion 7 Price in Pakistan
The company claims that the BYD Sealion 7 has been launched in the Pakistani market with an ex-showroom price of Rs. 15,490,000, with the booking amount for Sealion 7 at Rs. 3,000,000, while delivery timelines are yet to be shared.
BYD Atto 2 Features
The BYD Atto 2 has been introduced as a smart all-electric suv from BYD carmaker targeted to serve users in Pakistan.
The Atto 2 has introduced many premium features like a keyless start with NFC card access, a 50W wireless charging pad, ergonomic electric seats/ventilated seats, and a highly intuitive cabin design.
It has also proven to be highly competitive in terms of performance characteristics as it tops the list of all electric vehicles in its class in 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds. With up to 75% reduced operational costs compared to ICE solutions with similar drive capability of 380 km, it provides a smooth transition to electric mobility solutions.
BYD Atto 2 Price in Pakistan
BYD Atto 2 is launched for Rs. 7,290,000 ex-showroom, with the booking amount for Atto 2 kept at Rs. 1,400,000.
Moreover, both vehicles are based on company-developed core technologies such as the Blade Battery, specially designed to ensure safety, durability, and high-temperature resistance. Furthermore, both vehicles benefit from the upgraded range, charging efficiency, and performance provided by e-Platform 3.0.
The innovative electric motor and power subsystems, or “8-in-1” electrified powertrain, bring together various motor and power transmission functions to reduce weight and improve performance and driving experience while ensuring safety and performance consistency across driving conditions.
