ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan has rejected a New York Times report claiming that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter jets were used in strikes against the Houthis by Saudi Arabia.
In a post on X, the Fact Checker account of the Ministry of Information described the post as “fake and fabricated”.
The ministry urged “international media organisations to avoid speculative reporting with regard to theย employment of Pakistan’s Military Forces under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement.”
“Details of any employment, if necessary, will be given by concerned authorities,” it wrote.

On Tuesday, the information minister also dismissed the report published by Reuters claiming the deployment of 30,000 to 40,000 Pakistani troops in Saudi Arabia as โspeculativeโ.
“It has also been underscored that the operational details of the actualisation of the collective deterrence are a matter of operational confidentiality and may not be made subject of media speculation,” the statement reads.
