RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Pakistan right-arm pacer Naseem Shah has revealed three most-favourite wickets he took since he made his debut for the national team.

It was in the first Test against Australia in Brisbane in November 2019 when the fast bowler made his international debut for Pakistan.

In February 2020, the pacer became the youngest bowler to claim a Test hat-trick in the first Test against Bangladesh.

He was just 16 years and 359 days when he secured the hat-trick in that Test.

Since his debut, Naseem Shah has been a regular member of Pakistan’s all-format squads.

So far, he has picked 60 wickets in 20 Tests and 50 wickets in 28 ODIs for the country. Additionally, he has bagged 25 wickets in 30 T20Is.

In a recent podcast interview with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Shah mentioned three wickets as the most-favourite of his career.

The fast bowler’s most-prized wicket was veteran New Zealand batter Kane Williamson.

“You need to be accurate and work hard to get him out. I felt good when I got Kane Williamson out. The second is [Steve] Smith in Test cricket,” Naseem Shah said.

He pointed out New Zealand batter Devon Conway’s wicket in a Karachi ODI as his third-most favourite wicket.

“The ball was offering reverse-swing. I hit his middle stump. The wicket was crucial for us to break the partnership,” the Pakistan fast bowler said.
